Restore removed files

Cleaner-App helps you to get rid of different types of useless files on your Mac, such as screenshots, downloads, duplicate files, similar photos series, and some others. You can skim all these types of junk files and remove the ones you don’t need anymore.

For your safety, Cleaner-App removes files to Trash. If you selected and removed some files by mistake, with Cleaner-App you can easily restore them from the Trash. Here is how to restore removed files:

  1. Go to the Menu Bar → select File → Removal History.
  2. You will see the Removal History window showing you the list of all files you removed with the app. Select the files you want to restore and click the Restore button. Also, you can use the Restore icon next to each file name. The icon appears when you mouse over the field.
  3. The selected files will be restored to the same location they were before removal.
Please note, if you have already emptied your Trash, you can’t restore removed files. In this case, instead of the Restore icon, you will see a message that the file is not restorable.
